Simple GIF

HAHA I AM TERRIBLE AT THIS

Conclusion Questions:

1. First, I had to have a reference so I chose to make a sketch and work off that. Then, I imported the sketch into Adobe Illustrator and used the pen tool, curvature pen tool, and shape builder tool to make parts for the head. Next, I used the pen tool for the torso and arms, including some use of the curvature pen tool and widgets to make rounder edges. I then created the pants and used the knife tool to separate the arms and legs into movable pieces, functioning like joints. Finally, I put them together in a group and then opened a second document and used the selection tool to  grab the avatar, copy and paste it, and then put them on separate art boards to later export as PNGs and upload them to a GIF making website. 2. The most challenging part of making my avatar was trying to get the head how I would like it. 3. I created movement by moving the arms in a position that makes it look like they're waving. I added frames in between the positions to make it a bit more smoother. 4. An improvement I would make next time would be the positioning for the animation, as I messed up and it jumbles around a bit.
