How I created "what's in a name?"
1. I Chose a font and typed my name. I got photos from the internet and added a Clipping mask to make them crop into my name. Then I used a selection tool to make some pop out. Then I added a drop shadow.
2. A clipping mask is a group of layers to which a mask is applied. Unlike the Eraser Tool which permanently removes pixels, Clipping Masks hide parts of a layer non-destructively. I might use them to make even more fun projects by adding them to photos.
3. The clipping masks were successful in my project. There was nothing unsuccessful.
4. Based on the learning target, "Create a multimedia collage of personal interests, identity, and culture in Photoshop that demonstrates knowledge of media and technology skills by utilizing clipping masks and layer masks." I think my Project deserves a level mastery of 3. I think this because It is a great example of the project, but could use some work.
