Levitation composite

Files used

Invisibility composite.

The steps taken to make this composite are as follows: Place the camera on a tripod, and take 2 photos (one of nothing, one with you either doing a levitation or invisibility composite.), Open Photoshop and select "load files into stack". Once you've done that, add a layer mask to the photo with you in it. Select the brush tool and use black ink to conceal the stool/chair/ladder on levitation, or parts of you in an invisibility.

Layer masking is a nondestructive way to hide parts of an image or layer without erasing them. The Eraser Tool deletes parts of the image but layer masks simply hide them. I might use them to make more composites (maybe not though).

I believe my project was successful because I was able to do the necessary minimum of two composites, but there are much cooler examples of composites.

Based on the learning target, " Practice and demonstrate skills in the manipulation of digital imagery by using Photoshop to create a composite image", I think my project needs work, as it is a pretty bad example of a composite compared to my peers.
